Necip Gengeç is a Ph.D. candidate at Istanbul Technical University (ITU), where he is supervised by Prof. Dr. Ergin Tarı. He also received his BSc (2007) and MSc (2010) degrees from ITU. Having spent significant time in the industry, Necip has honed his research focus on the application of deep learning and computer vision to multimodal data and understanding model generalization. Currently, he is collaborating with Prof. Bagci and his lab at Northwestern University as part of his Ph.D studies.
