Dr. Vedat Cicek earned his medical degree from Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and later became a cardiologist by completing his residency at Health Sciences University in Istanbul, Turkey. Throughout his residency, Dr. Cicek actively engaged in scientific activities, focusing on algorithms related to the prognostic prediction of acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases. For his Ph.D. thesis, Dr. Cicek concentrated on predicting the prognosis of pulmonary embolism patients using artificial intelligence. Currently as a Clinical Research Associate in the Hybrid and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, he is dedicated to developing holistic AI solutions for predicting the prognosis of patients with pulmonary hypertension, chronic coronary syndrome, and cardioembolic stroke.
