Vanshali Sharma is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Northwestern University, working under the guidance of Dr. Ulas Bagci. She carried out her PhD research at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India, where she focused on developing innovative algorithms and deep learning techniques for medical image analysis using GANs, diffusion models, and advanced detection and segmentation methodologies. Her current work focuses on radiation oncology, dose prediction, and prognosis predictions for pulmonary embolism and cardiovascular diseases. Her research interests encompass the intersection of medical image analysis and deep learning, with a keen interest in foundation models, generative AI, multimodal learning, and few-shot learning.
