I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Radiology at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, working in the Machine & Hybrid Intelligence Lab under Prof. Ulas Bagci. My research focuses on trustworthy AI for medical imaging — including human-in-the-loop and gaze-guided (eye-tracking) methods, model calibration and robustness, and the interpretability of large language models. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Data Science from Maastricht University, and previously worked as a researcher at Beijing Friendship Hospital. Broadly, I'm fascinated by how AI systems develop internal cognitive structure, and how that can be harnessed to build more reliable clinical AI.
