Abstract

An abstract is not available in the lab archive.

A 2019 Journal of Nuclear Medicine meeting abstract reporting an association between fibrous dysplasia-related 18F-NaF activity and bone turnover markers.

Summary

This 2019 meeting abstract concerns the relationship between fibrous dysplasia (FD)-related 18F-NaF activity and bone turnover markers (BTMs). A later source describing a study with a similar title reports positive associations between PET/CT-derived measures and marker levels in a cohort of 44 patients; the available evidence does not establish that this is the same abstract, so those findings are not attributed here.
